You know he's a toddler when...
- he yells at the top of his lungs in Target because he knows you'll look at him.
- he opens the box of crackers that you've given him as a distraction from yelling.
- his random babbling actually starts to sound like words and phrases.
(He has started saying things that we often say like "no dogs," "no touch," and he started naming things without being prompted like "ball" and "baby".)
- he goes limp when you try to move him from one spot to another.
- he hits the window many times after he's been told "no" and he's doing it to see how we'll react.
- you ask him if he needs a diaper change and he nods "yes" and then runs back to his bedroom.
Oh, sweet baby Jack, you are growing up way too fast...
