Elmo's best friend is Jack or Jack's best friend is Elmo, one or the other. I don't know how I didn't write about this until now as Elmo has almost become a member of the family!Jack got an Elmo Live! from Grandma Renee and Grandpa Gary for Christmas. The first few days Jack really wasn't sure he liked Elmo's talking and moving. But now he loves him! You can push Elmo's nose, tummy, foot, or back and he does all kind of tricks like tell jokes, dance, or tell stories.
When he first got Elmo, he wanted to push his nose, but would run away as soon as Elmo started saying something. Now he LOVES it when he gets Elmo's nose pushed all by himself. I thought I would quickly get annoyed with Elmo, but it's hard to get annoyed with something that he loves so much. However, ask me again in a few more months!
What's even better is that Jack recognizes Elmo in lots of places - cracker box, diaper, balloon at the grocery store, ... He's just learning how to say "Elmo," although it sounds like "Momo." (Notice the Elmo on the cracker box.)

Awwww...how sweet. Izzy hasn't developed an attachment to any of his toys yet.
