Jack and I played in the snow this weekend and although it wasn't his first experience with snow, he had a blast! We went to the front yard where we could find the deepest snow and he walked around, jabbered, and loved showing me the snow on his mittens.
The last time we had snow, we got a lot of it and it was crunchy on top, so it was hard for him to walk on with unstable legs. But this time we had about an inch or two of fresh snow, just enough to cover the grass. He was unsure whether he wanted to walk in the front lawn at first and much preferred a neighbor's unshoveled sidewalk. He walked back and forth and stopped every once in awhile to touch the snow and show me his discoveries. He was so happy and I thoroughly enjoyed it through his eyes.
I don't have any pictures, because I decided to leave the camera inside. I wanted to just enjoy the time with him. Next time I'll take some pics.

We haven't had any snow in New Jersey. I can't wait to let the kids experience the snow.
