I'll stop complaining now...

A teacher from my school was expecting a baby in July. She knew that there were medical problems with her little girl before she was even born. Her little girl was born at the end of May and died two hours later. She just posted the news to our school's conference email yesterday. I can't even imagine the entire situation or having to post news like that.

And here I was... complaining to Bryan last night about my loooong day with Jack as I tried to rearrange his nap schedule in preparation for daycare. And how Jack was cranky, screaming, and a general pain all day. He may have been a pain, but he was my healthy and curious little pain.

I have 3 at home. A friend of mine just had a little one and he was diagnosed with downs. Not the end of the world but knowing what they are going through I thank God for my healthy (albit annoying) littleones.

So sad. My heart goes out to her.

Oh, wow. That sure snaps things back into perspective in a hurry, doesn't it? That's too bad. I can't imagine.

We should all remember to be thankful more often.

(Yet, it is still understandable to complain sometimes about long days and short naps...)

It's one of those terrible things we all hope we'll never truly understand, isn't it? My heart goes out to her. And you're SO right about keeping things in perspective. Every now & then (bedtime?), we all need a little reminder!
