weekend plans


I stress myself out sometimes.... Bryan and I make a good pair because he doesn't get very worked up about getting "things" done. I'm the exact opposite. I am a list maker, I like organization, and I LOVE when I get things accomplished on the weekend.

We have many projects that need to be done around the house. I also have many things that need to be done before the end of the school year, of which there are only 10 more days!!! (I say that with glee). But last night as I was making my weekend list, I realized I was just stressing myself out by listing all the things that need to be done. So I threw away the list. I decided I'm going to try to get things done, but I'm also going to take it as it comes. So far, I've made some baby food and gotten some laundry done. It feels good and I'm not stressed.

Good for you! I also feel your pain in this area. I LOVE getting things done, and I have a hard time just sitting around. I've learned that boys are much better about just hanging out. I've also realized that a little more relaxation and a little less stress is good for me. So here's to us not being quite so Type A.

Thanks for justifying my list making. :) It is almost hard work sometimes NOT to make a list. But it's good for me. I'm enjoying the weekend so far.
