I have run in the rain and if it's warm out, I don't even mind biking in the rain. But golfing in the rain, no thank you! School is officially out for the summer! I finished boxing up my room this morning.
Since school is out, today was our district golf outing. I've gone the last few years and it's always a good time. I DO NOT golf, so it's pretty entertaining for the first couple holes. But I golf with a great group of friends who don't mind as much about the score as just having a good time. It was very, very rainy today and we were sure that weren't going to golf. But we had the choice to either golf or get a rain check. We all knew that we wouldn't be back on our own, so we golfed. Two holes at least. After two holes, we were soaked! But since we play best ball, I actually managed to hit a few worthy shots in the 2-hole game. Yeah! So we headed back in, took our rain check and drank a few beers. And summer begins.

Sounds like a great day to me! I don't usually golf either, but a few holes and a few beers wouldn't make it so bad!
