Happy Momma

Bryan took this picture of a tulip in my garden. Although my garden has been neglected for awhile, I have a few pretty tulips blooming.

Although Jack had very little to do with this flower, it was fun to get a homemade Mother's Day gift from him.

I'm a happy momma tonight. After several days of not-so-fun circumstances, tonight was a relaxing evening. To make a long story short, Jack was very crabby on Mother's day which made for a LONG day. And even though I didn't make a "list," I still had it in my head and knew exactly what hadn't gotten done. Once a list maker, always a list maker, I guess. Then I got in a minor fender-bender yesterday. Someone ahead of me slammed on their brakes which caused about 10 cars behind them to squeal to a stop. I was lucky with only a small scrape on my bumper from hitting the person in front of me. There were several cars behind me that were really smashed up.

But, tonight was one of those nights you want to happen all the time. Jack was in a playful mood and we played on the floor for a long time. He jabbered away at me and we played with the stacking cups. It was a lot of fun.
