Tag, You're It!

Bryan tagged me earlier this week and here goes...

Seven things about myself (in no particular order):

1) I LOVE being a mom. Before Jack, I always wondered if I would like parenting... but it turns out, it's been one of the most enjoyable parts of my life.

2) I hate the feel of paper. You could say that I despise it. It has a dry friction that is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

3) Back in the day, I was a good pianist. I took lessons for 12 years.

4) My favorite thing to do on the weekends is to be outside with Bryan and Jack. Either on the bike with Jack in the trailer or on a walk with Jack in the "Jack pack."

5) I love organization! It helps me to be a better teacher, but many of my colleagues tease me about my insane organization. I go a little nuts sometimes.

6) Peanuts and m&ms are my favorite "bad for you" treat. I love salty and sweet together.

7) I like my profession, but if I were to do anything else, it would be to mentor kids. Teenagers worry me. They have so much going on in their lives and a lot of them don't have someone to guide them.

Well, there it is. I thought a long time about my seven to pick out things that others might not know about me. :) I'm rather new to the blogging world, so I don't know anybody who hasn't been tagged yet. Maybe I'll pass my tagging off later.
Have a good weekend!

I agree with you on the salty and sweet together thing, but I'm deranged and like nuts, but don't like nuts "in anything". For me it's the choco-covered pretzels. Yum!

You'll be getting more comments soon with Brian pimping your blog, so you'll have plenty of folks to tag before you know it!

I do like my salty and sweet, however if I have to choose between salty and sweet, I go salty.

You hate the feel of paper? How can you be a teacher and hate the feel of paper? Do you think you hatred of paper ever holds you back professionally? Do you ever have nightmares where you are surrounded by paper and can't escape?

I only make fun because I LOVE the feel of paper.

Sean - It IS kind of ironic that I am a teacher and hate the feel of paper. I don't pass things out a lot. I have the kids pick the papers up for themselves. Ha. ;)
