Where did the time go?

Bryan and I have been working on our calendar for next year and in the process, reminiscing over the past year. We started a tradition last year of making a personalized calendar of pictures we had taken through the past year. We made it through iPhoto and it was really nice quality! So we made one for 2009 too. We had over 1,800 photos and I think probably 1,775 of them were of Jack. Ha! We have about 20-25 videos of him as well.

We had fun going through all those pictures and videos, but it really made me wonder where last year went. Everyone says treasure the time, because they grow so fast... I feel like I really take that to heart and try to make each day special so as not to miss anything as Jack grows up. Yet somehow, time has still slipped by quickly.

In 2008, he went from a chubby, cooing, little baby to a precious boy who can talk, walk, and understands so much about the world already.

It'll be amazing to see what 2009 has in store for us.
