Halloween/Fall preparations... I love this time of year! The kids really got into decorating and Maddy made a spider hat at daycare to add to our fun. I got some new fall decorations, which I love and will be sad to put away soon. Our sweet dog, Lily, posed for a picture after she decided to forget about her old age and kill a rabbit in our yard. Ick. In case you have been in a cave over the last couple months, the Cubs won the World Series!!! There was a lot of celebrating at our house! Notice a very definite theme on Jack's "thankful feather" for school. Ha! Maddy helped with the spirit of the season by crafting some "costumes" for her stuffed animals. She is quite the artist and LOVES anything related to crafting or drawing.
Jack 'O Lantern time! Jack decided to do something a bit more creative this year. Maddy pretty much bossed Bryan around to make hers.
Our little spooksters - Jack was Emmett from the Lego Movie and Maddy dressed up as Wonder Woman. Jack nearly refused to wear the construction helmet, but after we told him he had to pay for it if he didn't wear it, it was on his head. Ha! Maddy was very proud of her golden lasso! It was our last daycare Halloween party (sniff) and Maddy really got into making treat bags for her friends. She colored a personal little picture tag to tape on each one. She loves to give her art to others! We had a blast trick-or-treating and with a beautiful evening, we walked a long ways. Lily went with us again this year and enjoyed the walk. The kids had a lot of fun handing out candy when we got back too. They acted more excited about that than the actual trick-or-treating! Funny goblins!
