Finally... a weekend with no homework!

Taking a grad class along with the usual craziness of teaching has definitely made me put this blogging thing on the back burner!  I have had these picture collages ready to go for weeks...  oops.  Here are some highlights of our fall so far!  We spent Labor Day weekend celebrating my sweet niece's third birthday in Illinois.  The kids had a blast although it was exhausting for them too.  :)  Wagon rides and pool time were both really fun!

We had park time and great fun at Lucy's gymnastics party!

Our family has a ton of birthdays between late July and mid-September.  Everyone of my nieces and nephews has their birthday then, except Maddy!  We had a lot of birthday fun!

Bryan and I got to have a fancy night out for a friend's wedding at the Holland Center.  Suit & tie and fancy dress was in order.  Aren't we cute?!?

Other fall happenings... enjoying beautiful weather while we can and weekend visits to the library.  Jack played fall league baseball this year.  It was more instructional and really good for him!  We're hoping we can get the kids into some indoor soccer during the winter.

We took our annual visit to the pumpkin patch on a warm Friday night.  It was a lot of fun!  We all look forward to it for weeks beforehand!  There was a new ball play barn where you could shoot foam balls and run around like crazy.  Jack also enjoyed using the apple canyon!  Maddy's favorite was probably the giant slide.  Our favorite: kettle corn and caramel apples!

We joined my cousin, Emily, to support the Alzheimer's Association for a walk this year.  My grandma has Alzheimers, so it was a very meaningful walk for us all!  We had a beautiful day and the kids had a good time too!
