First time at the Amusement Park!

Over the 4th of July weekend, Jack and Maddy got their first experience at an amusement park! And... they absolutely loved it!  They have been begging to go back ever since.  Definitely a positive review!  We went to Adventureland and although it started as a rainy day, it ended up being a cooler day.  Since it was cool, we didn't get to do any of the water rides.  But the 6 hours that we spent there was well spent on other games and rides!  Jack and Maddy got to be with their cousins on my side of the family the whole time too.  On the way home, we stopped for a few hours at the Des Moines Science Center.  We didn't see nearly everything and besides a couple tantrums (by both kids!), it was really fun (the last line of pictures)!  And, as the final picture shows, Maddy was exhausted after all of it.

Here are my favorite pictures from the weekend:  1 -- Jack and Maddy at the Stormchasers game on the 4th / 2 -- This picture is on my phone!  One of my faves. / 3 -- Our last ride at Adventureland was the Ferris wheel.  The kids and I rode with my sister and niece.  Part-way through the ride, fireworks started and we got to watch them from the top of the ride.  Absolutely amazing! / 4 -- The Graaf cousins with their puppies won at Adventureland!  A cute bunch!
