You'd think I'd have this post done by now since we just had a couple of snow days around here... but I guess the kids are keeping me busy! Valentine's Day was full of fun and way too much sugar! Here's a run down of all our fun.
(1) We made cute little handprint Valentine's to send to family members. It was an easy enough craft to get Maddy to sit still for too.
(2) The front of the Valentine's cards. Jack is getting really good at signing his name!
(3) Heart-shaped pancakes for supper on Valentine's Eve. Bryan and I decided to earn ourselves a free burrito on Valentine's Day by sharing a kiss at the Qdoba checkout.
(4) Valentine's Day Chex Mix... yum!
(5) The gift bags of sweet goodness for Jack's teachers. I also shared some with my students at school and they devoured it, of course.
(6) Maddy in her Valentine's pink. I can't say that her facial expression is very lovable though.
(7) Jack checking out his new book from Papa & Nana. He loves it!
(8) Maddy liked her Valentine's gifts too, but the red tissue paper got played with more than anything!
(9) A sweet little brother & sister moment reading books.
And I didn't get a good picture of them, but Jack's favorite gift was his fuzzy Chicago Cubs pajamas made by Grandma. Going to have to get a good shot of them the next time he wears them to bed, which will be soon, I'm sure! He takes them off only long enough to get them washed. Our kids are lucky to have such awesome Grandparents!
