We didn't go anywhere for the 4th of July this year, but we are contemplating making the 4th of July a time for us to go out of town in the future. The amount of fireworks that are fired around our house is ridiculous. It's all fun on the 4th (or even the 3rd this year due to the holiday being on Monday), but when they are fired in June, that's just ridiculous. Anyway, we hung out here and enjoyed some simple pleasures of having family time.

Getting ready for some yummy smoked goodies at Uncle Ken's house

This picture isn't much other than us enjoying the weather after eating good food!

In preparation for Baby "Stegosaurus" (as she has been so lovingly named by Jack) we have begun the transitions from Jack's room to the baby's room. It was well overdue, but Jack finally moved from his toddler bed to a twin bed. My baby boy is getting big!

Enjoying some more yummy food at home, including Jack's jello stars.

This is what a little boy looks like after riding his bike in the heat. We enjoyed the fireworks from our driveway later that night, but we didn't get any good pictures.

Lastly, I celebrated hitting the 20-week mark. Halfway to meeting Miss Baby Stegosaurus!
