Finally... A little bit of Fall

If I haven't mentioned it before, I love fall. I love the crisp air, apple cider, falling leaves, and even the scent of burning leaves. The last few weeks have skimmed right over fall. We finally had a weekend of {slightly} warmer weather and no rain! We took advantage and took a family trip to the pumpkin patch. My parents, sis, and I took Jack to a small pumpkin patch complete with a petting zoo, hayrack ride, bonfires, and a corn pool for kids to jump around in. It was a lot of fun. I wish it wasn't so costly, or I'd be there again next weekend.

Jack with a baby "nugget" on his head. He wasn't at all excited about this experience.

Riding on the big, red tractor. He was very excited to ride! Aunt Sarah was super and made the seat bounce as he "drove." I have a funny video to post later (when the computer is nice to me).

Anticipating the pumpkins on the ride to the patch.

I found just the right one, Mama! I thought I was being thrifty and told him that he could only get a pumpkin he could carry. It turns out that the small pie pumpkins cost the same as some of the larger ones. :)
It was a fabulous day!

My kids are obsessed with pumpkins right now. They carry them around the house ALL day. I just know that someone is going to bust a pumpkin on my carpet.

I love the fall, too. And I am amazed at what they charge for pumpkins these days! Hope you guys had a great Halloween.
