Tricks, Treats, and Short Haircuts

Here's our little Spider Man. He was so cute. And he did a pretty good job with the hat!

Here are a couple good pictures that Bryan took the next day. It appears he might be on a sugar high! Note the very cute blonde locks.... ;(

And here he is saying, "Momma!?! What happened to me? I don't have any hair and I have a big mark on my forehead."

"Sweety, your hair is the result of momma' making a horrible mistake with the scissors. The forehead... you did that yourself when you ran and hit the wall."

And so it goes - Jack went to a cheapy hair cut place today to get a "fixer" haircut. It was a horrible experience. The guy who cut his hair chopped it way short (which I'm sure he had to do since I screwed up!) but also kept getting very grumpy with Jack because he was moving his head. I wanted to say, "hello!!! He's one. He's going to move." I payed as quickly as I could and got out of there.

So with every experience... what did I learn?
* It is okay to let your son's hair grow a little. Looking back, it wasn't really THAT long.

* It's worth the extra couple bucks to just take him into my stylist. It's less stressful and much more fun. And he looks darn cute afterward. I will definitely be coughing up the money for a professional cut next time, even if it does seem to break the bank.

ahem ... yes, it's OK to let his hair grow a little. I'll stop right there.

All of the photos are absolutely adorable! I love the Spider Man costume.

I'm sorry the haircut didn't go as planned, that's tough. I always let my husband cut my son's hair so I don't have to feel bad if it looks bad. I'm proud of your for trying! Jack looks adorable!
