Lesson #1 - Do NOT take your kid to daycare when your momma' senses tells you he's not better. You'll just end up leaving work one hour after you get there.
Lesson #2 - Know what medicine your child is taking. Write it down if you have to! Don't sit in front of the nurse and act dumb.
Lesson #3 - Don't throw away the sample eyedrops the pediatrician gives you, even if you are told to switch drops. The eye doctor may just tell you to go back to them. If you have thrown them away, you will spend $25 on a 1.5 inch tall bottle that holds approximately 3 mL. You will kick yourself all day long.
Lesson #4 - Pink eye is a beast! It is especially bad if it is of the viral variety.
I will now be storing those lessons away for future use. Good night.

Stories like these make me never want to enroll Porgie in Preschool - or even real school for that matter. Too many germs!
Oh, and I hope your little man is feeling better soon:)
Thanks for the well wishes. It's weird though - nobody else at daycare has pink-eye. So I wonder if he got it from a random source (i.e. shopping cart)???
So sorry Jack is struggling w/this. No fun for him and definately no fun for you. Sending lots of love and warm fuzzies your way.
Thanks, Katie. He is finally looking & feeling so much better! It's nice to have him back to his old self again. :)
Wow, it sounds like you've had a very rough week! I'm so glad Jack is feeling better!
