Jack had his first trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend. It was a short trip because of a rain delay, but he had fun anyway. There was so much to see (including this furry spider that Jack loved)!
My sis went with us and snapped a good picture. These pictures seem few and far between... Bryan says that Jack is starting to look more and more like me. What do you think?
There were some little pygmy goats at the petting zoo. Jack really liked this one and followed it around for a good 5 minutes. I kind of feel bad for the goats - being chased by little Jacks and all.
Then we finally made it to the pumpkin patch before we went home. Jack wasn't very interested in the pumpkins at first. In fact, we left the pumpkin patch with three gourds. They have different textures and Jack loves them!------------
Knee update:
For the first time in as long as I can remember, I ran two miles today!!!!! Whoo! It's not that big of an accomplishment, I know, but I have suffered from IT Band Friction Syndrome for many years that has kept me from running. My PT put some adjusted orthotics in my tennis shoes and both knees are feeling better.
My left knee isn't 100% yet, but I was pretty pleased with this morning's results. It felt GREAT to be exercising like a real person again.

Other news:
Our school is getting full recycling. Full meaning that we will be able to recycle aluminum, cardboard, plastic (more types of plastic than at home) all on top of paper. I'm pretty excited. That means no more having to haul all my pop cans home to be recycled anymore.

And for even more Jack enjoyment, check here.

The pictures are adorable. Your little guy is getting so big! And that goat was pretty cute too:)
OMG! The pic of him w/all the pumpkins is GREAT! Glad your knee is healing and you were able to run. Woohoo for recycling!
yay for the pumpkin patch!!
super cute friend :)
I love going to the pumpkin patch.
And hooray for full recycling! Kudos to you, if you had some effect on that happening.
Also, running again-- great! I hope it continues to go well.
How fun! I just love this time of year and all that comes with it. We visited a pumpkin patch yesterday and never made it out to the fields. My kids loved the gourds and tiny pumpkins outside the gift shop the best. Oh well!
I do see the resemblance between you and Jack. Isn't that fun to see?
I'm so glad your knee is feeling better!
Super cute...both of you. :)
The pictures of Jack at the pumpkin patch are priceless! He is just too cute! I can see the resemblance for sure! By the way I love the little pygmy goat..how cute is that!
Bryan's definitely right, Jack looks a lot like you. If you had a much, much larger head, and were a dude, that's what you'd look like.
