This picture popped up in my timehop feed recently and I had to share it! I seriously can not believe how fast time has gone since Maddy was born. It is so true that the days are long, but the years are not. Not that all days are long... but some days can just be rough with kids!
And here she is at four and a half years old! She is so proud of that "half" right now and will correct you sometimes when you say her age. Here are some fun moments from Maddy recently: She loves her superheroes and really loves to play dress up with Jack! The wonder woman / bat girl costume was put on during quiet time in her room. She came out that way! (Notice her cute little baby face still peeking out... she is looking so grown up lately that I love seeing it!) Maddy just got a new baseball glove recently. She has been excited to get to use it although she seems lukewarm about playing baseball next year... we'll have to work on that! :) Her writing and drawing is getting so good. She knows her letters and numbers up to 100, is starting to read, and amazes me daily with words and ideas that I had no idea she understood! She loves the outdoors and has spend countless hours at the ballpark this spring. And she still has a great stink eye!
Other Maddy facts: She has learned how to whistle and does it ALL THE TIME! She has pretty much mastered her bike without training wheels. She loves art and making cards. I think I got 10-12 Mother's Day cards made by her. Ha!
