Halloween Review {in pictures}

Here are some pictures of our pumpkin carving fun this year.  I didn't get any pictures of us going to the pumpkin patch this year, but we had a blast!  Bryan's company has an event night at a local pumpkin patch, so we spent a Friday evening in late September there. We had a ton of fun playing, riding the train, and enjoying yummy treats.  The pictures are from our carving night and as you can see one of our kids was much more daring when touching the pumpkin "guts" than the other! 

Here are a few other random pictures from October.  Jack dressed himself and Maddy up several times in anticipation of Halloween (top left).  He was trying to teach Maddy how to trick-or-treat.  So adorable!  I took the day off on Halloween due to daycare being closed.  It was a nice treat as I got to help out at Jack's Halloween party (bottom left)!  Maddy tagged along and was a very good girl.  Jack liked showing off his little sister!  Aww. 

And our spooks of 2013... Strawberry Shortcake & Captain Rex from Star Wars.  They were quite a pair!  Maddy did a really good job of saying "Trick-or-treat" and "Thank you" when going to the door.  She remembered more than Jack did sometimes!  We had to quickly find a home (the cupboard) for the kids' candy.  Maddy was obsessed with looking at her candy every morning (note the jammies).  She really got into the holiday!
