Batman and the Bug

Jack had a Halloween party last weekend and after he got to wear his costume that afternoon, I thought he wasn't going to ever take it off!  For most of last weekend, he wore the belt and mask.  He was pretty much in love with his costume.  On the way home from daycare on Wednesday, Jack said (in a giddy voice), "I am soooo excited that today is finally Halloween!  I have been waiting for this day all through October!!!"  His pure excitement was contagious!  He had a ton of fun going trick-or-treating too.  He did really well going up to the door all by himself this year and even remembered (at most of the houses) to say "trick-or-treat."  Although we tried to remind him to say "thank you" too, he sometimes got too excited about whatever he was holding in his hand and we had to remind him to use his manners.  The weather was nice and calm too, which made it an enjoyable night to be out and about.

Batman looking like he's ready to fight crime!

Ready for the big Halloween party!

This was the first time Maddie tried on her costume.  I wanted to get a picture not knowing whether pictures would go well on Halloween or not.  She obviously did NOT want to take pictures.

I am not happy about this, people!!!!

Cousins during their visit to Great-Grandma Joanne's.

My little bug - I had to use a flower clip to keep her antennas on.

More Bug cuteness.

And a picture of my Bug's wings.  So cute!
