9 months & then some...

It's been quite a wild ride around here over the last few weeks.... nothing major, but I have definitely had to prioritize my blog posts! I started back to school a couple weeks ago and decided to kick off the year not only with bronchitis a week before going back to work, but a stomach bug that kept me home for the first day of teacher meetings. Then Bryan & Jack got the bug too - not a fun time around here! Although Maddie avoided that bug, she got sick this past week with hand, foot, & mouth. Poor girl had a high temp for a few days along with sores in the back of her mouth. So needless to say, we've been busy and with Jack's 5th birthday, I put his posts before Maddie's. So being almost 1/2 way to 10 months... here's her 9 month post. (I wanted to still make sure and do it as I often refer back to these posts when scrapbooking!!!)

The big thing for this month is that she is now crawling.  It is amazing how quickly she gets around and how fast she went from up on her knees to crawling like a pro!  She can be playing in the living room and into the dog water in seconds.  It's pretty impressive, really.  My husband is a really good writer (much more creative than me), so if you want a humorous description of our little Miss Madelyn, check it out here.

9-month Stats
Weight -19 pounds 5 ounces (61st percentile)
Length - 29 inches (92nd percentile)
Diaper Size - size 3
Clothing Size - 9, 9-12, or 12 months (all depends on the outfit); She can still fit into a few 6-9 month onesies.
Sleeping - Bed about 7:30 - 8:00 and up around 6:30 - 6:45.  Naps mid-morning (9 or 9:30 until about 11:00) and afternoon (12:30 or 1:00 until about 3:30).   With me going back to school, her schedule has been pretty solid over the last couple weeks.
Eating - Still loves her baby food (mostly phase 3), but we are trying to get her to eat some puffs with her meal.  She's slowly warming up to them.  However, she's still not a big fan of soft pieces of food.  She's a stubborn little girl.

Although this isn't the most attractive picture, I wanted to document that at 9 months, our little monkey still spits up now & again!

This is her "I'm about to get into trouble" look.

I must take a lot of pictures of her in this onesie...  she looks good in purple.  I love how blue her eyes look when she wears purple!

And, there it is, Maddie's crawling!

This pictures captures her personality perfectly.  I say that she has lots of "spunk." With some cooler evenings lately, we got out the baby swing and as you can see, she loves it!
