It is absolutely amazing how quickly babies grow & change. And as hard as I try to soak up every minute with my babes, it seems like time ticks by way too quickly. We have had a lot of "firsts" around here lately. Maddie had her first try at cereal last week. When Jack was a baby, I was super excited about him eating baby food. I think it was the novelty of the whole situation. Now along with the excitement of a new milestone is a tiny bit of sadness as well. My baby girl is growing so fast!
Maddie is also starting to roll all over the place! A rearranging of toys and baby-proofing project is on the horizon. This weekend, she rolled off her play-mat enough to "snuggle" with Tonka. He's such a patient dog when it comes to the kids (which is about the only thing he is patient with). Notice Maddie's feet kicking his face in the second picture!
Jack raced in his first mountain bike race this weekend. He was so excited on Saturday morning that he asked several times what time he got to go "race the dirt" before it was 9 a.m.! He did a great job and most importantly, had a really fun time. And he got gummy bears as a prize. What little kid doesn't LOVE getting gummy bears!

LOVE biker Jack. It is cute to see the kids doing things that are "our interests". I am sure Bryan was super pumped. Myles has been asking to run with me every time I go and I just LOVE it. I totally want them to do what they want do, but I love when they want to be like us. I am sure we will see many more pics of racer Jack.
