Snuggles

I love our pediatrician.  I don't remember talking with her very much when Jack was a baby, but Madelyn has made several trips to the doctor in her first month of life.  Nothing serious, just a little bit of jaundice and then a "leaky" belly button that wasn't healing quickly enough.  Although we {hopefully} will be seeing less and less of her, she makes you feel like you are old friends catching up on the happenings of your children.

One of the things we talked about at one of our recent visits was how different things are with baby number two.  And I couldn't agree with her more.  I feel so much more relaxed and able to enjoy having a baby than the first time around.  I know I already wrote a little bit about this once, but it seriously has been an eye-opener for me.  How quickly time flies and how quickly they change....  And looking at the date of my last post, I can tell I've been snuggling up Madelyn and not doing things like posting pictures!

So excuse me while I go snuggle up the baby and look forward to the big-boy coming home from preschool.  I will leave you with some pictures to admire Madelyn's ever-chunkier cheeks, sweet baby fingers, and Jack's fun in the snow with Daddy.  I want to remember these moments forever.
