Where were we?

So, I've been a little absent lately. And, truth be told, it felt good. I needed some motivation to get blogging again.

So where were we?

Well, we've had a fun, yet busy, few weekends. Last weekend we went to Vala's Pumpkin Patch. Which was a lot of fun, but seriously expensive! Our daycare provider organized it and as an early Christmas present to her families, hired a professional photographer. We haven't seen any of the pictures yet, but I'm sure they are good. And since we hadn't had Jack's 3 year pictures taken yet (ahem), it worked out perfectly. I just hope there are some keepers!

I don't have very many pictures. I didn't get my camera out much since the "pros" were taking pictures too!

This was a couple days later when Bryan was carving our very expensive pumpkin. And our very expensive pumpkin turned out to be rotten. Jack's face was legit. Bryan was a trooper and carved it anyway. The pumpkin is now in the trash and we have two cheap pumpkins waiting to be carved!

This weekend we took a morning trip to the Children's Museum. They have a new exhibit called "The Big Backyard." Jack loved it. There was a big BBQ gazebo, a camping display, and lots of outdoor toys.

Jack really like the canoes and camping area. Uncle Matt, want to take him in your canoe?

Jack is really loving Halloween. And everything he sees is "spooooky!" He's such a ham.
