I know I've been lacking in my blogging lately. I apologize for that. But I'll try to catch up in the next few posts... All our Thanksgiving pictures are of Jack (of course). He is the excitement in our lives. ;) Here is what happened during our Thanksgiving, according to Jack.
We got to see lots of cool animals at the Water's Edge Nature Center in Algona. Not to be seen in a picture, but Jack has been talking incessantly about the Indian (Pocahontas) he got to see on the way to and from Algona.
Playing with water guns... yes, inside. My grandpa has a cat that needs to be disciplined from time to time and mini water guns do the trick. Jack found them and his Great-Uncle Ken got the fun started. Jack squealed with delight as he chased everyone around the house.
His hair is not wet because someone else had a water gun. He enjoyed shooting at himself. Funny boy!
The weather was beautiful on Saturday, so some time was spent discovering the farm. Looking at the tractors was his favorite.
You can't spend time with your uncle without a little horseplay. And showing off your belly, of course. Thanks, Matt, for not showing yours. :)
Playing on Great-Grandpa's computer. He liked typing and playing games with Aunt Liz.
The break was fantastic! However, we missed having my Grandpa around to enjoy the fun. He's in the hospital awaiting a prognosis on spots found in his lungs. Hopefully we'll know more this week. Please keep him in your prayers.
