Jack's celebration start at home on the night of his birthday. He wanted to have Chicago style pizza and we have a place that makes delicious deep-dish, so we ordered pizza. Bryan brought home a Sprite for him to have with his supper. Our kids so rarely drink pop that this was quite a treat! He got to open gifts from us and the grandparents (who got to visit for his actual birthday) and we enjoyed the evening together. We try to not buy Legos for him because we know others will and he has SO many already! He was excited to get some Jurassic Park Legos from nana and papa (didn't get a pic). We got him his own batting helmet, a new sweatshirt, and a little baseball game that was an instant hit! He spent time this summer "playing baseball" with his ninja turtles as he has learned the rules of the game. This baseball game is going to get a lot of use!
Jack wanted a Ninja Turtle / bowling party, so we did the bowling with a touch of TMNT decorations! Maddy was excited to get to bowl too! Jack's friends had a great time and things got a bit rowdy every once in awhile, but as you can see... the lone girl at the party just arm wrestled the boys into submission! Jack was lucky to have his papa and aunts, uncle, and cousins join him as well!
Jack had a really great time at his party! Happy 8th Birthday, Jack!
