Well, hello! I've been away for awhile and have so much to catch up on - Jack's birthday party, Jack's first day of school, general craziness from Maddy...
Jack had a Star Wars themed party the weekend before his birthday. It was a small party with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and our daycare family. I saw so many cute ideas on Pinterest for Star Wars themed parties and was able to try a few of the ideas!

| Jack's invitation. I found a free template that I could enter our information and print. It didn't print with the red lines and smears either. It looked much nicer than this. Super easy though! |
 |
| I made light sabers using pool noodles cut in half, silver duct tape, and black electrical tape. Pretty easy to make and the kids had a blast running around and "fighting" each other. Definitely an outside toy! |
 |
| We ordered pizza and served it with fruit and a drink. This was our sign for the refrigerator. Trying to add a little more Star Wars to our party since I didn't have time to make individual drink labels! |
 |
| After a yummy lunch, the kids headed out for some water fun. Jack loved his party two years ago that was a "water party," so he was more than happy to do it again this year. My favorite pictures are at the top where I caught Jack on his way to a big splash! |

Target was our baker this year. I had a really good coupon for 20% off bakery cakes and Jack found one that fit his Star Wars theme. Of course Lego brick candles were important too. Although it was a Star Wars theme, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stole the show. Jack got all four turtles and their buggies and was beyond excited about it! He has played with all his new Ninja Turtle toys quite a bit since his party.
All in all, it was a fun day! |
