Christmas 2012

We traveled home to Iowa for Christmas and spent a few good days with each of our families.  It was a fun trip and despite the usual lack of sleep and "kids out of their routines" crabbiness, it was a relaxing stay.

Nana Renee made Maddy and her cousin, Paige, the cutest dresses for church on Sunday!  She is a talented seamstress!!!

Snapshots of our Christmas Fun...  (1) Maddy is a P.I.G.  And I say that with all the love in my heart!  After her snack, she would stand at Paige's highchair and steal hers!  (3) Star Wars was a big hit for Jack!  (5) Jack and I made star bird feeders for the grandparents' gift this year.  Super easy to make and fun too!  Here's the link for the directions.  (7) Maddy snuggling her new pajamas.  :)  (8) Jack got a Lego Star Wars X-Wing from Santa.  It took the boys most of the morning to put it together!

Our best family picture before church on Christmas eve.  Maddy was only partly excited to take pictures!  We forgot to take pictures of just the kids until after the 8 p.m. service, so as you can see by the top picture, they were tired and were done with pictures!

Jack and his cousin on Bryan's side of the family.  Jack was so excited to see him and they loved getting to spend time together!  They are quite a pair.
